It is a summer afternoon. The clouds are breaking up, dispersing in the sky, and patches of clear summer blue peek through. The sun makes brief appearances through the patches of cloud cover, and the air feels a little warm now, and uncomfortably humid.

Summary: Alesa on her day off is relaxing at the mug when she is joined by her mentee Jamilah, old friend Jellem, and meets the new faces of Waitress Tasena and Ista Hold StableMaster Galledamas. Various conversations amidst consumption of drinks and spiced meat ensue.

( All work and no play, makes Harpers dull. And we can't have dull Harpers, it defeats our purpose of at least trying to put entertainment in life )

Apprentices are hard at work, while Vezre works on lesson plans.
Moria is perfecting her Journeyman Project proposal with her own two hands.
Schmendrick keeps up the mostly work and not much play,
while Alesa amidst doing administrative stuff, stares at the office fish all day.
Kurt's still scary, apprentices stay wary, Erikkhan is still the art man, painting whenever he can.
And should I keep going, and this get much worse.
I will apologize right now for subjecting you to my verse.

I deeply regret my recent actions and the upset which they caused. It was inexcusable of me to disappear into the jungle without permission or notification. The fact that my actions, which I undertook of my own volition without approval from either Hall or Weyr, caused strain between both, is something I am quite ashamed of. Please accept my deepest and most sincere apologies. I understand that what I did was completely wrong, and I vow never to dishonor my knot in such a manner again. I can only hope that the continued relations between Ista Weyr and Harper Hall will not be further strained on my account. Please forgive me.

Previously..
It's well known that Moria told many people of her plans to return to Harper
Hall should she not Impress at Ista Weyr's hatching. Letters were even
written to her mentor and friends, stating that very fact. She did not
Impress, and after seeing Sadaiya safely to the Infirmary, witnesses claim to
have seen her packing her belongings into a bag and leaving the Weyr, headed
down the beach, apparently intent on walking back to the Hall. That was the
last anyone saw of her.
No dragonriders from Ista Weyr admit to giving her a ride, and letters sent
by firelizard to her family in Ruatha reveal that she has not gone there,
either. What has happened to her?

We have seen many Journeyman project presentations, some excellent and some not as much. And we have had a boom of new apprentices joining the hall, a credit to, what we all know is /the/ most important craft in all of Pern... )
